Momsrising Org Share Your Experiences With Child Care In Washington State Momsrising.org is a joint website of momsrising together, a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization, and momsrising education fund, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Momsrising and mamásconpoder are thrilled to announce our fifth cohort of washington state momsforce fellows. the wa momsforce fellowship program is a year long leadership development opportunity for parents and caregivers to joyfully grow their advocacy skills and collectively create policy and culture change through personal storytelling, community mobilization, and local lobbying.
Wa Smf Png Momsrising 2.png. the washington state momsforce represents 40,000 moms, dads, and families across the evergreen state. over 10 years of advocacy, momsrising members have won historic investments in: early learning and affordable childcare. funding for dual language learning programs. pregnant worker protections. Momsrising is an online and on the ground organization, working to bring together millions of people who share a common concern about the need to build a more family friendly america. momsrising's one million members share a common vision for the future of our country's families and equality for women. in this group, we'll share information. All wa momsforce volunteer fellows will receive a quarterly (4 times over the year) stipend for participation in the program. to build community among fellows and learn from each other, all fellows will participate in monthly 1.5 hour weekday evening video calls on zoom and two in person weekend retreats (all expenses covered by momsrising.
