Heater Core Hose Routing Toyota Nation Forum Heater core hose routing. i can't seem to find the answer to this question anywhere. so, here's a diagram of the engine: i have the straight "to heater" hose attached to the lower port on the firewall, which then goes to the heater core. i have the squiggly "from heater" hose attached to the upper port on the firewall. is this correct?. 7 posts · joined 2022. #1 · apr 19, 2024. i am working on a 2011 highlander limited with front rear hvac. one of the t connectors on a heater hose disintegrated and i am having to replace it. while pulling the hoses apart, the other t broke off. i have removed several of the hoses and am preparing to put it all back together again.
