One episode of interest was s4's benefits. originally, with barney's heartbreak over robin and ted hooking up, i thought it was the perfect episode to illustrate why they'd end up together. but looking back, they turned robin into a moron for an episode, so she wouldn't notice barney's love like every other character did.
