Add the onions mushrooms garlic. cook on high for 4 5 or on low for 8 9 hours. combine the cornstarch cold water mixture and whisk it into the slow cooker. flip to warm. in a medium bowl, whisk sour cream with 1 cup liquid from the slow cooker until smooth. add to slow cooker and stir carefully to combine. Add to slow cooker and stir until evenly combined. cook on high for 3 5 hours or on low for 7 9 hours. beef is ready when it is melt in your mouth tender. once tender, stir in cream cheese until melted followed by sour cream until combined. serve with egg noodles and additional sour cream, salt and pepper if desired.
