Grilled Cheese Roast Beef Sandwiches On four slices of bread, layer two slices of cheese, two slices of beef and a fourth of the vegetable mixture. top with the remaining cheese and bread. butter outside of bread; sprinkle with garlic salt if desired. on a hot griddle or large skillet, toast sandwiches for 3 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Directions. heat the oil in a pan, add the onion and bell pepper and saute until tender, about 5 7 minutes. butter the outside of each slice of bread, sprinkle half of the cheese on the inside of one slice of bread, top with the roast beef, onions and peppers, horseradish, and gravy, the remaining cheese and finally the other slice of bread.

Roast Beef Grilled Cheese Sandwiches Norine S Nest Heat griddle to medium. place prepared slices of bread mayonnaise side down. on one half of 4 slices of the bread place two slices of cheese, overlapping slightly. on the other half of the remaining 4 slices of bread place 3 4 cup of prepared roast beef. make sure meat covers each slice of bread completely. Instructions. melt 1 tablespoon of the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. once the butter is melted, add the onions and sage. toss to coat all the onions in the butter, reduce the heat to medium low and let the onions saute slowly for 30 minutes, only stirring very occasionally. Instructions. in a large heavy skillet, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil on high. add the onions and saute for five minutes then add the green peppers, garlic and a dash of seasoned salt. saute for another 5 7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and onions have slightly caramelized. Set cooking grate in place, cover grill and allow to preheat for 5 minutes. clean and oil the grilling grate. place beef in center of grill. cover grill and position top vent over beef. cook until center of meat registers 110°f on an instant read thermometer for rare beef, or 120°f for medium rare.
