Super Easy Box Braids Tutorial Rubber Band Method Ohhnaaa Youtube Hi guys, 👋🏾 this video is on how to achieve box braids on short hair using the "anchor braid method. i originally did this method on instagram and it went. Secure the parted hair sections with a rubber band for a super clean look. once you are done, you can now start braiding. to start braiding, divide one section secured with a rubber band in three different parts and braid the sections in a typical 3 strand braid from the root of the hair as you move along its length. When i did my hair in the box braid rubber band method like always, i did my hair myself. doing the rubber band method over the traditional method saved me hours of time. when i do conventional box braids, i literally spend 12 hours or more doing my hair. with the rubberband method, it took me about 3 hours, and that is because i was moving slow. To achieve uniform box sections: 1.use a rat tail comb and begin parting your hair into four quadrants to manage the sectioning process more efficiently. 2.use hair clips to keep the unbraided hair out of the way. 3.when creating each box, strive for clean, straight lines. 4.once a section is parted, secure the base with a rubber band.
