Reversing valves are the pivotal components in heat pumps that determine the flow of the refrigerant, thereby allowing the system to switch between heating and cooling. they operate by shifting the refrigerant’s direction through a four way valve controlled by a solenoid. when activated, the valve redirects the high pressure refrigerant.
