Guided Reading Organization Adrienne Teaches Guided Reading I absolutely love reading about how other teachers organize for productivity. i learned many tips and tricks since i started blog hopping that i don’t even know which of my ideas are original. but, that’s okay! i thought i would share how i have my area set up, just incase organization makes any other teacher as happy as it makes me!. Hello all! i am a very detailed planner and super organized person. so, i have chosen to create my own lesson planning, guided reading planning, and grade book templates to better fit my needs and help me stay better organized. i have attached the guided reading anecdotal note freebie below. i plan for every group on the same sheet.

Teacherboss Hacks Classroom Organization Adrienne Teaches Reading I have used interactive notebooks ever since i started teaching three years ago, but this year i really wanted to focus on using a reading and math interactive notebook. i have dabbled with math foldable’s before, but i had never done a reading interactive notebook. my focus with interactive notebooks in the past was social studies and science. Quickly skim the book to get the information needed to fill out the guided reading planning form (words to discuss, questions to ask, etc.). you also need to have a space in your guided reading binder to house your anecdotal notes. this can be a simple column on your guided reading planning document, as pictured above. You can be organized, too. these simple steps are how i got started organizing my binder to make my guided reading time much easier. 1. label each section. use dividers for each of your groups, reading conferences student data, and teacher resources.
