Forgotten Batman Villains Dr No Face Youtube Bartholomew "bart" magen also known as doctor no face is a silver age batman villain who was obsessed with destroying and or mutilating representations of faces due to his own lack of one. bartholomew magen was a criminal who impersonated a scientist named dr. paul dent; the inventor of a device intended to erase facial scars. however upon testing the device on himself, dent's creation erased. Obscure batman villains #!1: doctor no face. he created a machine that could remove scars, but it accidentally removed his own face! at the end of his one appearance comic, it was revealed that the doctor, although he did lose his face, was innocent (read description for more). Tally man was a truly bizarre villain, with a design that looked like he should be fighting spawn as opposed to batman. tally man first appeared in batman: shadow of the bat #19 – by alan grant, vincent giarrano, adrienne roy, and todd klein. the tally man has a tragic backstory, having been sent to prison as a boy after defending his mother. Batman’s joker, riddler, penguin, and poison ivy are known by even the most casual of comic book fans, but there is a wide array of fascinating batman foes who barely amount to foreboding dc footnotes. some of these villains are better off forgotten and a sobering reflection of how far comics have come. at the same time, some of these obscure.
