Whatup876. the chaingunner heavy weapon dude is the one enemy from doom 1 and 2 that hasn't returned in the new doom games and most assume it's because he either doesn't fit or isn't interesting enough. some even believe the hell razer was the modern equivalent of the chaingunner. although i've seen people's ideas on how he could be modernized.
