Bmw E92 Coolant Temperature Sensor Location At Ryan Doughty Blog I need to replace my coolant temp sensor. i watched a video on it and it looked really easy to do. i ordered the part and when i went to replace it i could not find the existing sensor. the video shows the guy looking down the driver side of the radiator and the sensor is on the top of a hose going into the radiator. If you pressure test the cooling system, you can typically find any leaks pretty quick. if the lower coolant sensor does not sense any coolant flow, it will not activate the fan. try putting your old sensor back in with a new o ring, & see if the fan starts to work. there are 4 speeds on the fan, so check them all. Hi there, i have a 2010 320i e90 mechanical water pump, had the yellow temp warning come on the the red. obd 2 reader showed high circuit temp sensor, replaced coolant temp sensor, same thing, replaced water pump, thermostat, and engine temp sensor under intake start car from cold, fan goes full blast and red warning comes on. Hey guys i have been searching online and on my car for a while but cannot find the location for the coolant temp sensor on my 2007 e90 328xi. the closest i have come is on pelican parts site which shows the locations. i go out to my car to check and my hoses look totally different. any ideas? thanks!.
